Wednesday, July 11, 2018 - All 9 Gevrey Grand Crus (Straits Clan, Singapore): Clearly corked at first, but the cardboardiness blew off somewhat with time to show dark cherries, spice, a bit of earth and a nice bit of mineral. Nice if not for the corkiness. The palate had a really nice shape, with melting acidity and silky tannins alongside juicy blue fruited flavours - unfortunately all just a bit scalped by a smidgen of TCA. Enjoyable, but flawed.
