Sunday, October 9, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group: Northern Rhone (Tilia, Mpls): Very dark red/purple color. Splash double decanted. Drank 1 glass over an hour. This also suffered from getting too warm in the restaurant, but at its peak, it had a nice freshness with very dark red berry fruits, blackberry liqueur, black cherry and plenty of savory, earthy and roasted character followed by anise and spice on the finish. It got more "cloudy" as it became warmer. The vintage character is there, and when cool it maintains correctness.
