Sunday, August 9, 2009 - Over the hill. However, not a total loss by any means. Rich honey color - almost like a Sauterns. On open, very flabby and buttery- no acidity or crispness at all. After some time in the glass, a better balance emerged. It ended up being a very mellow wine - rich but not overly oaky.
