Thursday, December 8, 2022 - I brought to Harrison CC last nite for dinner. No idea where I got this wine, must've been a gift from some time ago. No decant. Garnet in color, slight bricking at glass edges. Nose of black cherries and perhaps some tar. Medium body, tannins mostly resolved, good amount of sour cherries, good acidity, and excellent length. I noticed a slightly stony or chalky quality to the wine, along with minerality and earth. Notes of leather and tar as well. Good complexity here. Very nice BdM that I'd never had before.
