Thursday, April 30, 2009 - Medium dark red with bright but slightly bricking edges. Woody, charred aromas, with subtle mediterannean scrub and some mentholly pomegranate too. Grainy but finely so and endowed with a gentle, natural sweetness that carries it through almost to the finish, where slightly dry and slightly bitter tannin becomes detectable. Impressive length for such a modestly pedigreed Nebbiolo.
