Tuesday, August 3, 2010 - Tasted blind first impression of the nose was awful. Like Grandma just opened the cupboard and let all the mothballs out. However in a blind tasting some wines can appear very contrasting when next to another. As I became more accustomed to the wine and it in turn became more accustomed to the air magic began to happen. I only had a brief look at this as it was a tasting only but it was very impressive. Really took on weight the longer it sat there and had great depth/dimension and class. Sizzled the tastebuds long after the wine disappeared.
