Thursday, August 2, 2018 - 1st of 12, decanted an hour, perfect cork and level - pale straw, bright and young; honeysuckle, apple, pronounced lemon, more chalk than steel; medium, long, decent persistence, usual lack of material of 07s (where did the notion come from that this is a particularly good vintage?) leading to lack of balance with over-emphasis on acidity....it may of course looking at other notes be that my bottle, coming from a cold cellar, is simply not ready and that it will put on enough weight to bring the flavours into equilibrium. Here's hoping! F (17.5) on basis of flavour profile.
