Wednesday, July 22, 2015 - Double decanted. In a wonderful place and came across much younger than I would have expected. Offers up large scale, black cherry fruit with bold dark minerality. So well integrated with perfect structure and balance. Goes on for at least a minute. Nice complexity for such a bold wine. Amazing stuff, no hurry to drink up. Can you tell I liked this quite a bit and it was up against a Harlan and a Shafer HSS. Who woulda thunk?
