Paired with the 2005 Araujo Eisle, this was actually denser and richer with a well integrated frame and lovely spice. Quite regal and drinking lovely.

Good dark flavored with a brambled wild black cherry note. Mature and nice spice. Probably just past peak.

Good fill good cork. Color of rusty brown.
Clearly old wine from aromas of rusty iron, with some relatively interesting spice. The first glass was pleasant and highly drinkable although obviously mature. Sadly by the second glass, wine had dried out & showed little redeeming flavors except rusty nail. This is past its window except for those who love drinking history.
