Likes this wine:

Friday, April 24, 2020 - I found this forgotten in the corner of my cellar. This was an odd one to place. Dark color, suggesting it may have turned. Nose has the beeswax smell of sémillon with dried apricots of ice wine. Those qualities are even more intense in the taste. Good balance of acidity and sweetness. Definite white fruits on a long finish. Fairly complex given its age. A bit more stuffing in the middle and richer than most Sauternes I’ve had. It’s a bit of an oddball, like a Sauternes was produced in Austria. I really like it and wish I gave it a few more years.
