Saturday, January 23, 2021 - Very enjoyable. Age is clearly taking it’s grip, but this is fully mature rather than over the hill.

Medium garnet color, clearly showing age.

Medium+ intensity nose. The tertiary characteristics of rich balsamic vinegar hit first, followed by olives, rosemary, oak and still a little cherry.

Medium bodied, but full flavored with a lingering finish of balsamic. Acid is medium and the tannins have become very soft. Still quite a juicy wine, and while the balsamic flavor has become dominant it’s nicely integrated into the olive, fruit and herbs.
