Friday, July 1, 2011 - Popped and poured. Medium-plus ruby. Expressive, uncomplicated aromas of red raspberry and cherry fruit along with spice, and a touch of forest floor. Medium to medium-plus body. On the palate, the fruit is similar to the nose with red cherry and raspberry along with notes of cola and spice from oak. Very RRV. Well balanced with moderate acidity and smooth tannins. Drinking quite nicely at present and should continue so for the short to possibly mid-term. Really has mellowed into a very nice Pinot after a somewhat awkward youth.
