Saturday, May 23, 2009 - Memorial Day weekend tasting, 2008 Oregon Pinot Noir barrel samples (Northern Willamette Valley): Nice spice and perfume on the nose. Very tight palate not showing much. Same on the finish, quite tight, but very smooth and seamless. If you're not paying attention this one will pass you by without you noticing.
