Sunday, July 11, 2010 - Soft and gentle, hints of earthiness, but more bing cherry at this point. Light spices on the nose, like a fine tea, and peaks of flowers in there. Mouthfeel is bright, not tart, but soft and a little thin. But very balanced on finish. A real star, especially if you can find it on sale somewhere. Perfect for salmon on a weeknight. Will definitely get better with a few years, but why wait?
