Friday, January 31, 2020 - Cloud ruby color, lots of fade, ruby-brick orange; hint of cherry syrup, licorice, burned notes, leather, garrigue, pot pouri, dusty earth with seemingly high alcohol and fine dusty tannins. Guessed old CdP on this. Very tasty, drinking very well for this age, but just seemed a bit warm with a little sweetness to it (probably comes from the age and tannins dropping out). Heritage Wine Blind Wine #4 at the Tasting Finals at Jean-George Las Vegas
