  Cocoa, tea, flowers, red berries, truffle, spearmint and spice form the nose, The complex offers ripe, and overripe red fruits with an herbal-edge with tobacco-infused red pit fruits, and cocoa surrounded by dark chocolate. There is a firmness to the texture, along with chewy red fruits with a lush-edge that lingers on your palate. Drink from 2024-2033.

  Light ruby color and medium body. Delicate. Definitely enjoyed it but was overshadowed by the the 61 la mission that evening

  Another bottle almost three years later, still nice. It has lost a bit of strength but remains very smooth and fun to drink. Flavor is more delicate, seems to be fading so drink it up. I'm astonished that a Merlot has lasted 30 years!

  Cloud ruby color, lots of fade, ruby-brick orange; hint of cherry syrup, licorice, burned notes, leather, garrigue, pot pouri, dusty earth with seemingly high alcohol and fine dusty tannins. Guessed old CdP on this. Very tasty, drinking very well for this age, but just seemed a bit warm with a little sweetness to it (probably comes from the age and tannins dropping out). Heritage Wine Blind Wine #4 at the Tasting Finals at Jean-George Las Vegas
