Thursday, December 11, 2014 - Popped and poured. Should have probably decanted for 30 minutes prior. It needed some time to breath but I was in a rush to get into it. Decided to use my Vinturi device and, quite frankly, I'm not sure what effect this thing has on anything.

After some time this wine started to open up nicely. The tartness went away and it showed some nice red fruits. This is a subtle wine - the nose is a bit muted and the palate is light to medium bodied. I wouldn't call this a profound wine. Instead it is a great mid-week wine.
