Friday, September 3, 2010 - Initially the nose wasn't giving much. Certainly didn't give away the big full bodied flavor profile revealed on first sip. Beautifully silky. Nice weight without being heavy. Big fruits but balancing acidity. Layers of flavors; plums, raspberries, spice, earth, coffee, tar and black tea. Did I mention silkiness??? Vibrant. Mose definitely opened up bot all the action was on the palate.
