Friday, April 13, 2012 - Started drinking this for lunch. Somewhat restrained nose with initial floral notes that became enrobed by alcohol vapor, indicating the wine is still young. First impression on the palate was the appealing sweet taste of red fruits, the finish was long enhanced by the noticeably young tannins. By dinner, the wine has become quite fragrant on the nose while remaining delicious on the palate. Another delectable CDP, and good QPR for the $39 I paid for this bottle.
