Friday, January 4, 2013 - Hot, jammy and disjointed upon opening. Improved somewhat with a half-hour of air, showing ripe red and black berry fruit along with savory black olive and prominent, drying tannins through the finish. Gassed and left overnight, a bit more approachable on day 2, but still ripe and fruit-forward with a tannic finish. Not my style at the moment, can only hope that time is kind to my remaining bottles.
