Sunday, November 12, 2017 - 2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Ripe yellow fruit, peach, lemon oil, caramel, sweet spices and oak. Excellent concentration, quite dense and oily, ripe yellow fruit and oak driven palate impression, slightly lacking acidity and a medium finish with ripe yellow fruit and oak at the end. For my palate, a bit Californiaesque.
