Saturday, June 12, 2021 - Opened and poured straight away.

Brownish body with a fragile red color in the center of the glass.

On the nose it screams old bdx. Licorice, blood and Lots of tertiary aromas.

The taste is rounded. Still got mild smooth tannins, linear soft acidity – but there’s no doubting that this is over the Hill. Way over. Subtle red fruit and old leather.

A tired bottle that is just clinging on to dear life.

Time to drink up if you have any in the cellar.

Consumed as part of a 1992 tasting consisting of
Ornellaia, Latour, Mouton and Sassicaia.

This bottle most definitely came in as the flop. Latour 3rd and in the top, way above, Mouton 2nd and Sassicaia 1st.
