Pale/medium garnet, wide pale rim. Touch of mahogany. Nose is quietly aromatic, gently autumnal with undergrowth and mushroom, also still with underlying red fruit. Touch of liquorice, medicinal edge. Medium bodied, tannins are quite fine and this is relatively elegant with attractive lightly spicy red cherry fruit, gently savoury yet with a core of sweetness, decent depth, fresh/vibrant acidity on the medium/good length finish. Very tasty, drinking well.
