Tuesday, August 23, 2011 - Lovely! Tonight the Chante Le Merle sings beautifully with a cascade of dark mature fruits, roasted almonds, leather, garrigue and provencal herbs. The palate is full-bodied with exceptional length and vivid texture. The acidity is very nice, but not overly expressed. There is a touch of heat slightly reducing the overall impression. Day 2: The wine is a bit more integrated but the touch of heat is more expressed.
