Friday, February 8, 2008 - Deep dark garnet color with slight bricking on the edge. A wonderful nose of cassis, cedar, floral notes & smoke flows from every glass. Blackberry jam, cassis throughout the palate with smoot integrated tanins providing vanilla and black pepper notes in a medium long finish. The mouthfeel is starting to thin on the wine and it is loosing its complexity. The nose is wonderful but much better than on the palate. I would recommend drinking this now and not wait.
