  • Very good considering it is 21 years old. Needs close to 2 hours to fully open after decanting. Slightly toasty finish. Paired with dark chocolate, the cherry taste is still very pronounced. Soft tannins and long finish. Medium mouth feel. Nose of dark berries and cherries. The cork was in great shape and their was very little sediment.

  • Dark garnet colored with slight bricking on the edge, an ever so slight tinge of brown rust color starting to set in. This is medium bodied with bright tangy black cherry predominates followed by tones of black raspberry, smoke, tobacco leaf and eucalyptus with hints of cassis and creosote turning to tangy slightly astringent dark cherry, floral and cedar on the moderate tannin lingering finish.

  • I am glad I didn't listen to my own advice and waited until now to drink this wonderful wine. It definitely got better with additional 18 months.
Deep dark garnet color with bricking on the edge. A wonderful nose of cassis, cedar, floral notes & pencil flows from every glass. Blackberry jam, cassis throughout the palate with smooth integrated tanins providing vanilla and black pepper notes in a medium long finish. The mouthfeel is thin but a wonderful lingering finish.

  • Deep dark garnet color with slight bricking on the edge. A wonderful nose of cassis, cedar, floral notes & smoke flows from every glass. Blackberry jam, cassis throughout the palate with smoot integrated tanins providing vanilla and black pepper notes in a medium long finish. The mouthfeel is starting to thin on the wine and it is loosing its complexity. The nose is wonderful but much better than on the palate. I would recommend drinking this now and not wait.
