Tuesday, April 18, 2017 - Burgundy Dinner - René Engel and 1978s (Formento's - Chicago IL): In 1978 flight. Still fresh but rather firmly structured. Less excited vs another taste from a year ago, also (I'm told) less exciting vs previous bottles from this same case. Slightly rugged finish. Certainly austere on its own, then better with food.
