Sunday, October 28, 2012 - T.C.from Santee. I've enjoyed several bottles of 07 Doyenne Syrah with consistant notes of dark Cherry, Black Plums, spices and tar. This wine needs an hour to open up and hits it stride at 70 degrees with rich fruits extended. It was excellent with braised Short Ribs.
