Tuesday, September 13, 2011 - deep ruby color and very aromatic after sitting open for 30 minutes. Dark cherry, Plum and spice aromas. First taste shows black cherries plum and a hint of peach in the mix. Not much of a pepper tone as had been suggested. Good tanins giving the wine a good polish. Not terribly acidic yet leaves a nice lasting finish.
