Saturday, February 22, 2020 - Upon opening barnyard notes but they evaporate soon, licorice on the nose, attractively open, powerful, on the palate licorice, black currant, savoury tones, clean mouldy earth, refined and convincing structure, a lot of depth and three dimensionality, exceptional balance between the elements, very long aftertaste with salty licorice bite, fully resolved and mature, probably at peak now. Not as powerful blockbuster style as the 1990 but simply excellent in a more refined category.
