Cork in perfect condition, mid-neck fill. Brick colour. The aromatics were overpowered by brett at first, mostly dissipating after about 3 hours. This wine was firmly on the tertiary side with principal notes of tobacco, burnt wood, cedar, graphite, and hints of herb and red currants. A medium-bodied palate showing remnants of red fruits, spice, and earthy notes was saved by some refreshing acidity. An enjoyable bottle but the wine was on its downslope.

Dark colour. Small, young, anonymous aroma profile. A fantastic wine! Young, intense, the tannins owns my palate. Dense fruit with ink, lots of ink, cedar etc and a very very typical Bordeaux.
My guess: 2010 21 years wrong... Tonight's easiest wine (for me) to set as flight winner. Wow this is a great wine! Much better than the btl I plopped last year.

Bottle in great shape. At first so much fruit on the nose - cherry, cassis - and over the first hour more leather merging with the fruit. Medium++ richness and depth, earthy cherry palate and tart long finish. Really good energy. Steadily evolving now showing pepper, no cherry, mouth puckering. Really excellent.

nose - berry compote, earthy mouth- bitter red and dark fruits intermixed, which expand to coat the midpalate. coffee finish. In a very nice place at the moment.

St. Emilion night (Chicago, IL): Today, this showed a little better than the 1989 Cheval Blanc! Like the Angelus, this is quite large-scaled with pleasant plummy fruit on the nose. In fact, this seems like a less-concentrated and complex version of the Angelus, where you just seem to get more fruit and ripeness while some of the tannins, leather, and other secondary accents are dialled back.

Consistent with last bottle. Still loaded with fruit and some nice leathery undertones. Good energy but not especially complex. Very good and so youthful for its age.

Delicious, in the zone. Still has some tannins but great balance and energy, good secondary development. Pair with the right food! Roast duck with fig sauce for me, worked excellently.

I love this Château, but this btl isn’t what I'm looking for… Aromas: grandpa’s pipe tobacco, mature figs, etc, but essentially an aching wine. Beutiful, yes, but all is hiding behind a veil of pretty strong*pfft* oxidization.
We have another two btls to go. Hopefully, they’re both as amazing as the rave reviews here…

Sødmefull og juicy, kirsebær, jordbær, perfekt moden, eleganse som både dette slottet og mye annen St. Emilion savner i dag. Kunne hatt mer intens utgang men pen flaske.

Stored in a cold cellar since release. Fill just below cork. Subdued bouquet. Deep colour still red. Dense, power, medium to full bodied. Complex with excellent length. Mouth filling. Just about ready. Seems to have decades in hand. There is an arguable case about over extraction and St Emilion was a lighter style years ago though climate change has played its part.

'00 Mikulski Meursault 1er / '89 Troplong (One10): Well this was a surprise! Past experience with this estate had me decidedly in the "not my style" camp. This 89 though was more restrained and had much better balance. Still there is ripeness, richness and extraction. It seemed like Jekyl & Hyde sharing this wine rather than trading off. That dichotomy made it a bit strange at times. But overall, an enjoyable and impressive wine.
Cf to our notes from June, what has changed is that the bq has more tobacco notes. The fruit has begun to recede a bit, thus a deduction of one point. Still excellent, but maybe needs to be drunk sooner rather than later.
As per previous notes this is becoming a bit of a lottery, and it doesn't seem to have the structure for the long haul. Unfortunately this bottle was giving glimpses of over age, but was still highly enjoyable. I have rated this as high as 97 previously, but it has become "lucky and unlucky" bottles. Ironically it still needs a couple of hours in the decanter to blow away any barnyard funk.
Tasted blind. This was not a good showing, I don’t know whether it was an off bottle or awkward stage. Nose was nice enough, but on the palate it wa austere, with drying tannins and a metallic aftertaste.

Dense, blackish red. Pale edge. Some cellar funk on opening, disappeared after 2 hrs decant. Large bq w dark berries, cedar, minerals, dark cherries, smoked dust. Merlot dominated, w touch of Cab S. Velvety initially, firming up w dark fruit notes, polished tannins. Nice acidity, perhaps a bit low. Complex aftertaste w layered fruit and minerality. Of course fully mature by now. Excellent!

A evening of 20+ year old Bordeaux (Wilmette Harbor Club, Wilmette IL): The nose is just gorgeous and deep with tones of dark red cherries, dark red fruits, wet clay, leather, licorice, spice notes, tobacco, kirsch liqueur, coffee, violets, earth notes. This is beautifully balanced and layered in the ways that only Bordeaux can do with age. The Medium/full bodied feel is plush and silky with medium acidity and silky, medium tannins. The structure has resolved and the feel is so balanced and poised right now. This is a real joy to drink and while it's clearly mature, there is still a long way to go.

A wonderful bottle but perhaps the over extraction stopped it from getting a higher rating (but who cares when the wine was so enjoyable).
The wine was decanted 2 hours before consumption with plenty of sediment left in the bottle. Earthy and leather nose wrapped nicely by dark fruits, the body was layered with cherry, red plum with a hint of cedar. The tannin was quite present initially but soften away to be almost invisible by night end. Good long finish and underpinned by a strong anise note. The Cabernet Franc gave it a freshness that was the glue to the enjoyment of this wine.
Drink now as it does not have much acid and scaffolding left to hold it for much longer.

This is a magnificent wine, but as per previous notes I feel it is coming to the end of its prime drinking window, and with the better bottles the finish is showing stewed notes. With others sherry notes dominate throughout. My 2 cases had sat in Octavian prior to purchase, but I may have just struck unlucky with the second case. However, I still feel this needs to be drunk in the nearer term. That said this was one of the great bottles with elegance and steel all in one full of tertiary notes.

Absolutely a stunner. No barnyard funk in this bottle. Slow ox for 1 hr, decant 30min prior to serving. Do not over decant this wine. After 2.5 hrs it developed a noticeable (but not dominant) stewed note that only hit initially but faded quickly. Suggest 30 min. TONS of sediment in the bottle. Wonderful xmas eve treat

This was just lovely today. The nose was wonderful - graphite and earth and smoke curling around a core of sweet dark berry and cherry fruit, and then lifted notes of rosemary and spice and wild herbs filling the bouquet. Lovely stuff. The palate was absolutely yummy - just layer after warm layer of dark plums and cherries beautifully infused with a lovely mouthful of dark spices and dried earth, graphite and minerality, all this wreathed with a ring of tobacco smoke drifting into a euros it HKG grippy finish, with just a kiss of tannins adding a chewy length to the wine. Oh my, this was such a lovely wine, drinking right about peak after a couple of hours in an opened bottle. Wonderful.

As per note of a couple of months ago, I am racing against the clock to enjoy this as it begins a rapid decline. Although this case had excellent provenance bought from a very reputable merchant and having had good storage over the last 15 years, I do accept that I could just be unlucky, and also acknowledge it is very different to the magnum format. However, I do not see it as a wine that will continue to perform. I have had previous experiences of St. Emilions rapidly falling apart after 3 decades. That said, it is a magnificent wine with the right bottle, and only surpassed by the 1990. Do still give it an hour or two in the decanter to blow off some of the barnyard funk. 96+

Consistent with my last 2 notes, this is a fabulous drink. However, I need to reiterate that it is at the beginning of its decline with the nose showing overaging displaying sherry like aromas. However, it is still holding itself together on the palate with fantastic depth and complexity. It does need an hour or two in the decanter to blow off some the off putting notes on the nose.

Excellent aged Troplong-Mondot, corked was intact and only 25% done. Slight bricking, ruby red, nose of barnyard, licorice, currant preserves, plums, cherries, tobacco and truffles. Palate is exception, medium body, lots of sweet black fruit, kirsch, cherries, plums, licorice with the touch of spice and excellent acidity. Everything is in the good balance. Tannins are still alive but barely, well integrated in the wine and support balanced structure. Finish is long over 45 seconds. Prime aged right bank drinking!

I still have a half case remaining, and once again this tasting really confirms that I need to be finishing this up over the next 12 to 18 months as it is in the latter stages of its maturity. That said, it is a powerhouse of a wine, and really only surpassed by the 1990 over the last 50 years. The depth and balance on the balance are exquisite, and the finish pushes 60 seconds and is exceptional. It is still over harsh towards the end of the finish, but it is on the nose that its overage is starting to show. I wrote a couple of years ago, (with a rating of 97,) that this was a wine for special occasions; this still holds but it is past its absolute optimum, and it is probably better to make those special occasions sooner rather than later.

Upon opening barnyard notes but they evaporate soon, licorice on the nose, attractively open, powerful, on the palate licorice, black currant, savoury tones, clean mouldy earth, refined and convincing structure, a lot of depth and three dimensionality, exceptional balance between the elements, very long aftertaste with salty licorice bite, fully resolved and mature, probably at peak now. Not as powerful blockbuster style as the 1990 but simply excellent in a more refined category.

Looking at other reviews, I realise that I've been lucky to dodge the bottle variance that seems to be so prevalent recently. While a magnificent wine, I am now firmly convinced that this is in late maturity and should ideally be consumed over the next couple of years. The wine is consistent with my notes of 6 months ago, but this bottle was not quite up there with the previous. In spite of its maturity, it does still need a couple of hours in the decanter to blow off some of the rougher edges. However, once aerated it is a wonderful experience. While the nose is slightly muted the palate is bursting with flavour. Blackcurrant, plum, leather and tobacco dominate with a steely tannin. The depth and balance are excellent and the finish pushes 60 seconds and in spite of its tannic backbone is in total harmony without any residual harshness.
Troplong Mondot Dinner and Tasting (Private apt in NYC): From a mag and opened earlier in the day. For many this was the wine of the tasting and I'll admit it's really good as well, but for me the '86 was more in the right spot. This was still a bit youngish. Get a touch of violets, some darker fruits, a bit of spice. Certain elegance to it but I think it needs at least another ten years with this format.

Consistent with my previous note from 15 months ago, this is drinking at its peak. I also seem to be lucky in not having bottle variance looking at other notes. The nose is a little muted, but it explodes and shines on the palate. It is robust, old school, and a big wine all about old leather and ripe dark berry fruits with residual floral hints. The tannin is powerful, but is resolved with perfect balance with the fruit, and is multi layered with exceptional depth and complexity. The finish is pushing 60 seconds and is in complete balance. I am in two minds over whether there is further development ahead, but am inclined to think that its robust profile is part of its essential make up. I would also not be confident in this staying at this level for more than the next 5 years. It is definitely a wine for special occasions.

Po’s 89 Bordeaux @ Trompette (La Trompette, London): Riper and flabbier on the nose. A touch of port and somehow a little flat on the nose. Ripe and quite broad. A little dusty in the finish. This is somewhat full on and a touch over cooked. Better with raw meat or Stilton, perhaps. ***

Took over an hour in a decanter to come around. Into neck fill. Dark roast coffee, tobacco, cedar, grilled meats, dense black cherry skins and fruit, Oak with hints of blueberries. Finally after a few hours, some sweet and slightly sour red fruits appeared in the long finish. Is it possible to have too much going on in a single glass?

This has moved forward in the last year, and now is challenging the sublime 1990. This is at its absolute peak, but with a structure to stay at this level for years, and I am at an absolute loss at other reviews stating that it's in decline. This is a magnificent Bordeaux, and represents everything the region embodies. With a deep nose of old leather and blackcurrent, on the palate the depth and balance are excellent. The tannin is evolved but still with good bite and in total harmony with the fruit. The only barrier to a higher score is a relatively short finish which is slightly dominated by the tannin. This took decades to evolve but what an eventual reward. Do decant for a couple of hours. 97+

Impressive wine, but past it’s peak for me. I prefer young wines, so take that with a grain of salt. Lots of licorice, graphite, and ox’ed stewed plum. Will never regret purchasing and drinking this wine, but it wasn’t amazing for many in the room.

Needs 3 hrs at least in decanter. Fruit shows through first with no tannins present. Then herbs on layers of complexity show up. Not showing bad signs of age yet with flavors still precise.

Finally this has reached full maturity and has evolved into a spectacular wine. Still needing a couple of hours in the the decanter, the colour is deep and the nose is heady with blackberry and blackcurrent. The tannin has now totally resolved, and the balance is absolutely perfect on the palate with layers of complexity, and the finish is lengthy and also in total balance. This is very much a classic old school Bordeaux and has the legs to stay here for a number of years. 96+

Ok, fruit is a little bit stewed and the wine has started to oxidize, but it drank just fine. Fully chilled like a white wine and the flaws were hidden. Surely past its best but still I enjoyed it. Drink ....yesterday, if you have any bottles left, otherwise do not buy. Especially given the prices this vintage commands.

Phew, bought four of these and so far two of them have been completely off. Third bottles is finally in good (if not pristine) condition. Took a while in the decanter to blow off stale smell straight out of the bottle. On the nose I get tobacco, tar, spices, black pepper, pen ink. Most of the fruit has faded but what's left is on the darker end of the scale. Tannins have melted into the wine nicely although still providing dryness and structure. This is a rather broad shouldered and intens wine. Too much for me. I get Chateauneuf du Pape vibes from the wine. Bit hot too. If this is your preference then surely this is a great example. But just not my style.

Not a flawed bottle in anyway but not a performing one either. We are not sure if this is an issue with the wine evolution or just a badly evolved bottle. Was muted, light touch of herbal, eucalyptus side. Flat ont he palate and with no indication of life. We will not rate as not sure on the bottle quality (we bought a single bottle here 4yrs ago) but a disappointing show. 88 at best

Decanted for about an hour and drunk over the following two hours. Bright color and fruit -- in those respects incredibly youthful. The age shows in the very soft mouthfeel. Tannins and acid entirely integrated. There were no edges at all to this wine but it had great depth of flavor and evolved enjoyably over a couple of hours.

Starting to drink well, this is a big robust wine. Deep dark red in colour, it gives off hefty wafts of blackberry and licorice. On the palate there are big robust tannins, but their sourness is delicately balanced, before completing with a 30+ second finish. Once in the glass it settles down and and evolves into complete harmony . Drinking well but it should keep and perhaps improve for a good few years.

Double decanted for 1 hour, drank over a 3 hour window. Nothing special at first but slowly it turned into quite a treat. Classic mature Bordeaux on the nose, it has shed most of its tannins. My recommendation is to enjoy this smooth, silky and round drink on its own. Based on previous notes, there seems to be some bottle to bottle variability as this is drinking perfectly now.

"Best bottle for about 100 Euro" (Daniels Home): Colour: Dark colour seems to be very youthful. Nose: A boiled down mix of blackberry, wood, licorice. Already super concentrated & disharmonious in the nose. Palate: A match of the nose. Way too much alcohol. Still super young & a lot of power, but too much make up.

Sampled 12/1/12. Capsule and cork in excellent condition. Fill was mid neck. The color has some bricking. The wine, while past peak, still took about 2 hours to open. Some overripe blueberries, dried raspberries, hard leather, tobacco and Oak. Clearly this particular bottle would have been better 5-7 years ago, but it was passable now.

Probably close to fully mature, with a definite lightening of color, the wine was loaded with spicy black cherries, wet earth, smoke, jam, licorice and mocha, soft, silky and round in texture, the wine finished with a sweet, cherry griotte, plum and spicy, chocolate finish. For those of you who like facts, the alcohol level reached 13.5%.

Saturday Night Tasting: Popped and poured, followed for approximately 2 hours. This was quite tight at first, but opened up a bit, showing dark cherry, plums, licorice, earth, heavy spice, and a touch of mushroom. On the palate, this was equally tough to assess; still quite a bit of tannin, with some moderate acidity. Finishes long, however the finish is accented by what I perceive to be a bit of heat, which is also present on the nose. Hopefully some more time in the cellar will round this one out, but today, a touch disappointing given the vintage, producer and critical acclaim.

The fill was into the neck and the cork was sound; a pristine bottle. A dark ruby-red core, turning towards blood red at the rim. Notes of crushed dried dark (berry) fruits, briar patch, broken stones; hints of tobacco and leather. Medium bodied, with good grip, depth and balance. Lacking a bit in terms of complexity. My best experience yet with the '89 Troplong Mondot, but I was still disappointed.

Cork broke during opening. Wine was not as expected, but this can be due to the cork accident. Anyway, I received this as a present for my 50th last year and was expecting a great wine. This is clearly not the cast. I expect that drinking this one 10 years ago would have been a better choice.

Dinner at Il Lido (Sentosa Golf Club, Singapore): Very good, but just lacking that little something. Great aromatics tough - damp earth, slightly savoury wet tobacco leaf, dry woody spices, bramble, deep and lovely dark berries, dark cherries, sweet crushed cranberries and a high hanging herbacious note, almost pine-cone like. Still showing lots of youth on the palate. True to the vintage, acid was not the highest, but still plenty of lively and clean freshness here. Nice right bank flavours too - sweet dark cherries, tobacco, more pine cones, tobacco smoke. Pretty big, and obviously from a warm, ripe year. I thought the mid-palate a little hollow, but it filled up towards the finish with lovely gummy cherries and cranberries wrapped in fine tannins - there was obviously some hardness here before, but the wine appeared to have softened and integrated, so that only the littlest hint of sternness remained. Smoke, graphite and tobacco lingered in the mouth for some time before the wine faded. I thought the finish a little short of medium-length. Still so young and a touch disjointed - I would give it another two years in bottle. A nice wine though, plenty of quality here.

Excellent concentration, structure and flavor intensity accurately describe this 1989 Troplong. Robert Parker isn't kidding when he described some of the top 89s as backward and stubborn. Even now, this wine is a tad to young to drink. It's complexities have yet to come through. Cherry by far dominates the flavor profile. Its backbone allows for a variety of food pairings, complimenting dinner very nicely. It started to open up after nearly 2 hours; try decanting or waiting even longer.

Dark red colour in the centre with a bit of orangy rim, from the looks definitely not like a 89. Nose of strong mushroom and earth, with black fruits in the back. Palate was wonderful with black fruits, tea....with a slight tannin suggesting this bottle can wait for another a year or two. Finish is also very long. WHAT A GORGEOUS WINE.

My 40th and some notes...Bordeaux, CdP, Quilceda, etc. (Seattle): Loads of tannin still. Dried fruits, some chocolate, and notes of over-roasted coffee. This bottle is not showing the low acid profile I expected - there is some zest - but it shows great concentration and density with a few hard edges.

Uncorked DK tasting: 1989/1990 Bordeaux (Kenneth): Very dark red. Nose is extremely sweet and licquer-like, wild forrest berries, blackcurrant and blackberries. Compared to the nose the mouth seems a bit closed. It's still very structural with loads of tannins. Very long after taste. With air it begins to come alive. Also displays some rusty and iodine like elements. It's very complex and will probably improve further, but looses out on shere drinkability.

In the company of an 85 Pichon Lalande (gorgrous nose) and a 90 Lynch Bages (still some brooding tannins but enoyable nonetheless) this showing was a little underwhelming. Deep purple, a big wine, with soy and asian spices on the nose and sliughtly roasted fruit on the palate. Respectable finish but not strutting its stuff tonight. Give it time.

Decanted for several hours. Phenomenal and perfectly aged (for my palette, my Frenchie friends thought it could be layed down longer). Great spice, interest, strong fruit with a great start, middle and carrying finish. Little bit of the french barnyard character in a good way.

Concentrated, compelling with great structure. This ripe berry, licorice, jammy spice scented wine gets you excited from the nice sniff. The beautiful ripe black, plummy, chocolate flavored fruit and opulent textures will put a smile an any tasters face.

Dark in color. Initial notes of pine resin, chocolate and tar. The first take on this wine is that it is still primary. The palate follows the nose and offers pure right bank fruit that is dominated by a ripe tannic structure. The length in the mouth is impressive. This wine is showing very well now but only hinting at its future in my assessment.

Bordeaux on the Hudson (Peter Pratt's Inn): An interesting counterpoint to the Left Bank bruisers, this was a heavyweight in its own right. I loved the evolved and evolving nose on this one with plums, cassis, black berries, licorice and the ever present chocolate. A big muscular wine, it is not backward, but it is quite young and tannic. I really enjoyed the fruit profile on this wine; it was an inch wide and a mile deep. Tt finished strong with a chalky chocolate that lingered on as the black fruit faded. Impressive.

2nd time unlucky for me with this wine. First bottle had incredible nose of vanilla but a very dry, hard finish. This one was decanted about an hour before drinking and had a promising nose of dark fruits and some hints of chocolate and vanilla again. However, this bottle showed almost no fruit behind some bitter, drying tannins again. Tried again the following night and the tannins had receded a little but still overwhelmed any fruit.

Gary Margol Offline (Bentley Hotel London): Very ripe right bank nose of opulent fruit. Much better tannin structure for me than the Pichon Baron, lovelly grippy tannin. A beautiful mineral-graphite finish. Still a baby, but superb wine.

Gorgeous, vibrant crimson colour on decanting with no signs of ageing whatsoever. Incredible aromas of fresh, creamy vanilla filled the room as the bottle was decanted. Left in the decanter (wide bottomed ship's decanter) for an hour. Incredible nose in the glass (riedel vinum cab sauv) again of vanilla but changing to a mixture of vanilla coke and cream soda (!) which alone merited a perfect score (best nose on any wine for me so far). After a while the nose began to show hints of chocolate and coffee but with the everpresent vanilla still to the fore. Given this I was on tenderhooks as I tasted the wine. Plenty of sharp tannin on the attack which took a few hours to soften and even then was quite noticeable on the finish. Although on the palate there was still enough sweet fruit and traces of chocolate/coffee the wine needs a lot more time IMHO - the second half of the bottle was still singing 24 hours later. I will leave the rest for at least another 5 years before trying again. 92 pts on the night (mainly for the nose) but with massive upside potential if what is in the nose begins to dominate the tannin in the mouth.

Château Troplong Mondot vertical 1989-2001 with Mme. Valette (Handford wines, London): A famously hot vintage resulted in good ripening of the Merlot, which is not guaranteed on the cold limestone soil of T-M. Yields were 50 Hl/Hectare, which isn't terribly low, yet the results are spectacular. Beautiful nose of raspberries, mocha, chalky minerals. The palate is pure velvet with smooth but gripping tannins, still tasting fresh. This wine is at peak but will remain there for another decade. A wine of magnificent balance, richness and length - stupendous!

Beautiful red color. Instantly, wonderful aromas of aged tobacco leaf jump from the glass. The nose has a dark fig and date extract, and a new plastic smell that I always like, cherries, and even a sweet asian spice component that wont let you leave the glass. Rich and creamy cassis, and molasses-like liquor flavor. Great balance and a wonderful long finish. I wish I had more.

The color is deep dark rich garnet. Sweet tobacco nose with cinnamon and cedar box. Later, more tobacco and spice. Well structured. When I wrote this in 2000 I put that I wondered if the wine was a little thin, but I also wrote that I was quite drunk when I had the bottle. I tasted it again four months later and feel that that is a more accurate account of what is inside the bottle.

My guess: 2010

Bottle in great shape. At first so much fruit on the nose - cherry, cassis - and over the first hour more leather merging with the fruit. Medium++ richness and depth, earthy cherry palate and tart long finish. Really good energy. Steadily evolving now showing pepper, no cherry, mouth puckering. Really excellent.

In fact, this seems like a less-concentrated and complex version of the Angelus, where you just seem to get more fruit and ripeness while some of the tannins, leather, and other secondary accents are dialled back.

La bouche est dense, intense et veloutée. Cela reste élégant. Les tanins sont résolus mais on sent que le vin en a encore sous le pied pour une belle carrière.

Ch. Troplong Mondot 1989 blindt i glasset. Andre flaske på et snaut år støtter at dette er mye av det jeg synes mange moderne St. Emilion'er ikke er. Ingen peiskos-Bdx dette, men en seriøs og nesten utfordrende vin som gir en flott opplevelse akkurat nå.

I love this Château, but this btl isn’t what I'm looking for…
Aromas: grandpa’s pipe tobacco, mature figs, etc, but essentially an aching wine.
Beutiful, yes, but all is hiding behind a veil of pretty strong*pfft* oxidization.
We have another two btls to go. Hopefully, they’re both as amazing as the rave reviews here…

Intense ruby. Medium + nose, so young...this wine tastes like maximum 5-7 years of age, mineral, red fruits, clean, precise. Medium + body, grainy tannins, medium + acidity. Very young, amazing, will keep the other btl for at least 15+ years.

Beautiful bouquet of dark currants, plums, chocolate, mocha and cedar wood. Dark and bold on the palate showing lots of oak and some dark berries. Very chocolaty. Solid structure and backbone. Full bodied with supple and fine tannins. A bit of alcohol heat. Long finish. Enjoyable with lots of life ahead.

Compared to the nose the mouth seems a bit closed. It's still very structural with loads of tannins. Very long after taste. With air it begins to come alive. This one was decanted about an hour before drinking and had a promising nose of dark fruits and some hints of chocolate and vanilla again.

Yields were 50 Hl/Hectare, which isn't terribly low, yet the results are spectacular. Beautiful nose of raspberries, mocha, chalky minerals.
