Sunday, October 16, 2011 - Classic Latour nose of black fruits and walnuts with a lovely earthiness. Medium-bodied with good black fruit flavors and classic notes of cedar and walnuts. Drinking well now but not showing much secondary flavor development and should improve. The tannins are slightly coarse and this may never be as fine as a top vintage of Latour but it's a balanced and delicious wine that really shows off the terroir of the site. 93+
