Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - Tried it with 1999 Mouton. Much more closed and restrained despite 3 hours in a decanter. The potential is certainly there but its quite shy at the moment. Could be at its "sleeping stage". Will open another bottle in 2 years and evaluate again. This is of course not as flamboyant and complete as the 2000. But if you enjoy a more classic style without the overwhelming ripeness and oak there is pleasure in this bottle.
