Sunday, January 27, 2019 - Last bottle of the first full case of "expensive" wine that I bought ($30 Cdn). Stored in my cellar since purchase. Crazy high quality cork with less than 1 mm soakage for a 20 year old  wine! Colour is still very dark and midway between maroon red and ruby with a very gradually thinning rim. Medium full bodied by colour. Nose is incredibly powerful and pure and bursting with tonnes of perfectly ripe black raspberry, black currant and fresh eucalyptus. Wow, what a nose!! First sip - woah! Holy you-know-what! This is crazy good! So powerful, such gobs of fruit, huge amounts of black currant pastille, but also high acidity which is very impressive! Puckery and juicy fruit filled finish that is long and leaves your tongue tingling. Utterly unbelievable how this shows no sign of age! I can't believe how good this is! Easy 96 points!
