Saturday, March 31, 2018 - 1st of 12, decanted 80 minutes, perfect cork and level - deep, dark youthful ruby, purple tinge on rim; cherry, plum, leather, hint of vanilla and other spice, acid lift; full, long, concentrated and very persistent, great energy to fruit, meaty, VA lift making it as yet edgy, not quite come together, needs a little more time. Should improve on current VF (18.5)....Beaucastel currently more harmonious!
