Saturday, February 16, 2019 - A Fine Set of Wines with Friends, Both Old and New (Los Olivos, CA): My second from a well-stored case, and a step up from the prior bottle, tasted just over a year ago, which bodes well for the rest. Expressive nose of unmistakably CdP notes: smoked meats, plum, spice and flower petals. More typicity on the palate, rich, yet balanced by a fine acidity. Black cherry and spice interplaying beautifully. Plenty of minerality too.
