Sunday, March 31, 2013 - Popped and poured from split. Color is lighter red, pure through to the rim. On the nose, there are odors of rosehips, slight tar, and some hot alcohol on the backend. In the mouth, the wine is smooth, with a delicious flavor that should pair well with food. The finish is not particularly notable. Overall, this is enjoyable now and will likely benefit from further time. 92 points.
