Sunday, July 8, 2018 - Came across with the dates and figs I would expect, but it was much more delicate on the palate that I expected for a hot vintage. A very nice touch for a dessert wine which could go with a chocolate torte and not come off bitter. But best with dried fruit and blue cheese. Paola Bea does seem to know how to handle the hot vintage for both dry and sweet bottling's on a pretty heady varietal.
