Saturday, April 17, 2010 - (14.6%) Not overly oaky but the fruit aromas and flavors still have a hard time pushing themselves to the fore. However some white fruit (green apples) and tropical (pineapple) notes do rise above the fray. Nice acidity on the backbone gives way to a crisp, refreshing (and oakless) finish. From someone that isn’t a Chard fan this wine is quite enjoyable.
