The nose starts off with a rush of minerals, and as it opens shows some nice distinct fruits of pear, green apple, and lemon, and then develops a mushroom earthiness as well. The palate is reasonably crisp with medium acid and weight and consistent fruits from the nose, loads of minerality, and finally at the end some modest oak. This is hardly an oak bomb as some others as have mentioned. There is no significant oak on the nose and the palate shows quite restrained oak IMHO. This is well balanced and drinking well. I do strongly recommend giving this some air.
