Friday, October 26, 2012 - Pop & poured. Dark ruby color. Nose of dark cherries, oak, little anise/black licorice. Medium bodied, slight pepper, oak and a little minerality on the palate, with decent acidity and tannins. Not the usual herbal notes I tend get from cab franc, but a well made wine.
