Saturday, March 26, 2011 - Retailer tasting, quick notes. Dark, inky purple in the glass. Dark berries coming through on the nose, more specifically blueberry and blackberry, as well as some rich stewed dark fruit and spice. Dense in the mouth, with tongue coating tannin, yet nicely balanced. Lots of spice, cassis, stewed plum, blueberry, and some floral notes. Long finish. Very good.
