Saturday, May 13, 2023 - There has been quite a transformation since my bottle about three years ago. The nose has become expressive with typically Médocain blackcurrant fruit infused with a touch of noble green and discreet cigar box. This follows through onto the medium bodied palate where the fruit has become more gracious and more complexity has developed leading to a decently long and well supported finish. This is now a worthy successor to the very good wines I had in most vintages from 1988 to 2001 but, alas, it is my last bottle. Very good.
