Sunday, March 18, 2018 - Pat's note nails this. This is an outstanding wine, a combination of the restraint and delicate touch I expect from Merkelbach, and the intensity and finesse of the 2001 vintage. Just a fantastic bottle of Riesling, and I am glad to have a couple more in the cellar.
