Tuesday, June 30, 2009 - I was surprised and impressed by this off vintage. Rich pear fruit mixed with banana on a waxy frame with chalk notes, but great acidity on the finish. This does not taste shut down or oxidized, but did open up after some time in the glass, so a decant is recommended.
