Saturday, May 5, 2007 - Hospice du Rhone; 5/3/2007-5/6/2007 (Paso Robles, CA): On the nose, there are oxidative notes, marzipan, and toasted brioche. Surprisingly light in color. On the palate, there is serious minerality, spicy acidity (so young!), granite, crushed stones, honeydew, fuji apple, and a bit of lemon zest. Very intriguing.
