Sunday, December 10, 2017 - Deep golden colour. Aromatic, beeswax, dried apple and apricot, earth, and toasted hazelnut with a fino Sherry note. Dry, and round with beautiful flavor replays and surprisingly bright acid to balance. Very long, complex finish. I never would have guessed that this wine would age so well or be so attractive; the best thing I've ever had out of Beaucastel.
