Tuesday, February 18, 2014 - Opened for pasta rusticana night, this dark deep red showing dusty and rusty mineral driven maraschino cherry on the nose, with earth and mushroom elements. Nice smooth attack, with pure dark fruits on a mineral driven finish, featuring slightly sour black cherry, black raspberry and cassis. Pure, focused effort drinking very well at present. A delicious effort not over the hill by any means.
