Does not like this wine:

Friday, July 26, 2019 - Wow! After probably 2000 bottles, my very first counterfeit bottle of wine!

Had another '05 earlier this evening. A legit aged Dick Arrowood cab/wine. Coravined a glass of another bottle. Cork was depressed a good quarter inch. This wine is dark, reeking of American oak and is NOT a Dick Arrowood cab, let alone an '05 rendition. At most it is from 2014 and reeks of Alexander Valley Silver Oak. Or something similar. Wish I could remember where I got this from. I'd raise Holy Hell!

Buyer beware out there!

I picked up 2 bottles from one source and 4 others from another (I think up in NY) a few years back and have been slowly drinking them down. So far this is the first bad one. Now it makes me want to check the other 2-3 I have left.

7/28/2019 6:08:00 PM - lol......I wish I could go back on ebay and get the money back, but alas they are probably long gone. This was back in the day. I no longer buy wine on ebay, needless to say!

7/29/2019 8:56:00 PM - Yes Vino, 6-8 years ago wine was auctioned off regularly on ebay and I would buy some there, 2 of my 6 bottles came from there. Oftentimes there were wine shops getting rid of inventory selling on there and they did shipping as well. I don't know if individuals were allowed to sell it on there or not. Just checked ebay by putting 'cabernet' in the search box and thousands of bottles of wine popped up for sale. Haven't been back on there and years and still won't buy anymore there.
