Thursday, January 23, 2020 - Wines like this remind me of why love California cabernet blends. Dark fruit and spice on the nose. A nice plush mouth-feel with fine, well integrated tannins. Blueberry, blackberry and a hint of cassis combined with some vanilla and spice. Still in primary phase although getting close to secondary cabernet characteristics. Enough acidity to prolong life.
Great wine now and for 10 plus years. Don’t expect it to get considerably better but will drink well for 10’yewrs or more.
I wish I had more to try later.
